Network Devices – Overview

The Network Devices page provides a centralized view of all devices added to the selected network. It allows administrators to monitor device health, connectivity status, firmware compliance, and client associations in real time.

This page helps admins quickly identify device availability, usage, and configuration details from a single interface.

Page Layout

The Network Devices page is divided into two main sections:

  1. Health Summary

  2. Network Devices Table

1. Health Summary

Located at the top of the page, this section provides a quick snapshot of the overall network device status.

Summary Tiles

  • Routers
    Displays the total number of routers added to the selected network.

  • Switches
    Shows the total number of switches in the network.

  • APs (Access Points)
    Displays the total number of access points configured in the network.

  • LAN Clients
    Indicates the number of clients connected via wired (LAN) connections.

  • Wireless Clients
    Shows the number of clients connected wirelessly.

Connection Status

  • Displays the overall connectivity health of network devices.

  • Helps identify offline or disconnected devices at a glance.

Version Compliance

  • Indicates firmware compliance status across devices.

  • Helps admins ensure devices are running supported or approved firmware versions.

This section lists all devices within the selected network in a tabular format.

  • Filter Option
    Enables filtering devices based on specific criteria.


Table Columns

  • Status
    Displays the current operational state of the device (e.g., online/offline).

  • MAC Address
    The unique MAC address assigned to the device.

  • Name
    User-defined or system-assigned device name.

  • Serial Number
    Manufacturer serial number of the device.

  • Firmware Version
    Shows the currently installed firmware version.

  • Last Seen Time
    Indicates the last heartbeat received from the device (last communication with the cloud).

  • Activated On
    Date when the device was activated or added to the network.

  • Tags
    Displays any tags assigned to the device for grouping or identification.

  • Action
    Provides device-specific actions.

    • Common actions include:

      • Diagnostics

      • Edit

Pagination

  • Displays total number of devices.

  • Allows navigation between pages.

  • Users can select the number of rows per page (e.g., 50 / page).
