Add Inventory

Overview

The Add Inventory page is used to add new devices into the Pronto Networks Cloud Controller and assign them to a network.
Devices must be added to inventory before they can be managed, configured, or monitored.

Add Inventory Form (Main Section)

This section is used to register and onboard new devices into the selected network.

Fields explained:

Vendor Type
Specifies the device vendor or device type
(e.g., PIAP)

Device(s)
Used to add one or multiple devices into inventory.

  • Devices are added using MAC Address

  • Multiple entries can be added by pressing Enter or Comma (,).

  • Each entry is validated before submission.

Network

  • Assigns the added device(s) to a specific network.

  • Device will inherit:

    • SSIDs

    • Security policies

    • RF configuration

from the selected network.

Important: A device can belong to only one network at a time.

Actions

Save

  • Adds the device(s) to inventory.

  • Assigns them to the selected network.

Cancel

  • Discards all changes and exits the page.

    Bulk Actions (Inventory List)

The Bulk Actions option in the Inventory List allows administrators to perform mass operations on selected devices (APs/Router's) from a single interface.

To access:

  • Select one or more devices using the checkbox

  • Click Bulk Actions from the top-right corner

A side panel opens with the following options.
