Client Monitoring Guide (Old UI)

This guide explains how to monitor connected client devices using the Old UI.

Overview

The Clients section allows you to:

  • View all connected devices

  • Monitor bandwidth usage

  • Identify device types

  • Track upload and download activity

  • Review historical usage

  • Check last seen time

Navigation Path

  1. Log in to the Cloud Controller.

  2. Select the desired Network from the dropdown.

  3. Click Monitor.

  4. Select Clients.


Clients Dashboard Overview

The Clients page includes:

1️⃣ Real-Time Traffic Graph

Displays:

  • Upstream (Upload) traffic

  • Downstream (Download) traffic

  • Live bandwidth usage

  • Historical traffic trends (based on selected date range)

You can:

  • Click Now for live traffic.

  • Select a custom Date Range (Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, etc.).

A donut chart on the right shows client distribution by device type:

  • Android

  • Linux

  • Unidentified

  • Other device types

This helps identify what type of devices are consuming network resources.

  • Last 30 Days

  • This Month

  • Custom Date Range

After selecting a range, click Apply.

✔ Checking if a device disconnected overnight
✔ Confirming SSID association
✔ Monitoring traffic spikes
