Overview

The Events Logging List page provides real-time and historical logs for devices within a selected network.
It helps in troubleshooting, monitoring device activity, and auditing network events.

1. Accessing the Page

  1. Go to NOC Dashboard

  2. Select the required Network

  3. Navigate to Monitor → Events

You will see the Events Logging List page.

2. Live Data vs History Data

🔹 Live Data

Displays real-time events as they occur.

3. Filters & Search Options

• Event Range (History Mode Only)

Select a custom date range for historical logs.

• Device

Filter logs for a specific device (Router/AP).

• Event Category

  • All

  • System (Exp: HB, Config, Firmware)

  • Network (Exp: Link & Port Status, Switchover)

  • Client (Exp: Association/Disassocaition, CP, DHCP Lease, Lan Client connected/ Disconnected)

• Event Type

Filter by specific event types such as:

  • RADAR

  • DFS

  • SCAN DONE

  • DEVICE INITIALIZED

  • FIRST HB SUCCESS

  • HB FAILED

  • HB RETRY SUCCESS

  • CONFIG APPLIED

  • FW UPGRADE INITIATED

  • FW UPGRADE FAILED

4. Log Table Details

Each log entry displays:

• Time Stamp

Date and time of the event.

• Device

MAC address of the device generating the event.

• Category

System / Network / Client.

• Type

Specific event type.

• Description

Detailed information about the event.

5. Common Event Examples

  • CONFIG APPLIED – New configuration pushed from cloud.

  • ASSOCIATION / DISASSOCIATION – Client connected/disconnected.

  • DHCP LEASE GIVEN – IP assigned to client.

  • NETWORK SWITCH PORT UP/DOWN – Port status change.

  • LAN CLIENT CONNECTED – Client connected to VLAN.

6. Pagination

  • Navigate between pages using Previous / Next.

  • Displays total number of entries at bottom.

This page is mainly used for:

✔ Troubleshooting connectivity
✔ Verifying configuration changes
✔ Monitoring client activity
✔ Checking port status changes
