Firmware Upgrade

The Firmware Upgrade page allows administrators to upgrade firmware for selected devices, networks, or device tags.

Firmware upgrades can be performed immediately or scheduled for a later time.

🔹 Upgrade Configuration Section

1️⃣ How do you want to upgrade?

Currently available option:

  • Manual

This means the administrator selects the firmware version and target devices manually.


2️⃣ Version

Select the firmware version from the dropdown list.

Example:

2.0.2.46, 2.0.2.46_AP

Only compatible versions for selected devices will be shown.

3️⃣ Devices / Network / Device Tags * (Required)

Select the target for upgrade:

  • Individual Devices

  • Entire Network

  • Device Tags

This field determines which devices will receive the firmware update.

4️⃣ When?

Choose when to perform the upgrade:

  • Now → Upgrade starts immediately.

  • Schedule → Upgrade at a specific time.​

5️⃣ Do you want to Save previous uplink configuration?

Options:

  • Yes

  • No

If "Yes" is selected:
The device’s previous uplink configuration will be preserved during upgrade to ensure connectivity.


🔘 Upgrade Button

Click Upgrade to initiate the firmware process.

Click Cancel to discard.


🔹 Upgrade List Section

This section displays all firmware upgrade tasks.

Columns include:

  • Version

  • APs (Target Devices)

  • Scheduled at (Timezone)

  • Status

  • Created at

If no upgrades exist:

No upgrades found


⚠️ Important Notes

  • Devices will reboot during upgrade.

  • Network connectivity will be temporarily interrupted.

  • Always schedule upgrades during maintenance window.

  • Ensure devices are online before starting upgrade.

  • Server time is used for scheduling.
