Overview
The Firewall Configuration page is used to control client communication between SSIDs and VLANs within the selected network.
This configuration defines whether traffic between specific network interfaces is allowed or denied.

πΉ Basic Configuration Fields
1οΈβ£ Firewall Name *
Required field.
Enter a name for the firewall configuration profile.
Example:
Guest Isolation
VLAN Segmentation Policy
SSID Block Rule

2οΈβ£ AP / Network *
Select where the firewall policy will be applied:
Entire Network
Specific AP/Device
This determines the scope of the firewall rule.

π Client Communication Section
This section defines communication rules between interfaces.
Each row represents one firewall rule.

Rule Columns Explained
Interface (Source)
Select the source interface:
Options include:
SSID
VLAN
Other
This defines where traffic originates from.

Direction
Uni β One-way traffic (Source β Destination only)
Both β Two-way communication allowed/denied

Interface (Destination)
Select destination interface:
SSID
VLAN
Any
This defines where traffic is going.

Policy
Accept β Allow communication
Deny β Block communication

β Add New
Click + Add New to add additional firewall rules.
Multiple rules can be created within one firewall profile.

π’ Create Firewall Configuration
After defining rules:
Click Create Firewall Configuration to save and apply.

β οΈ Important Note (Very Important)
ACL configuration will override the above policy for the device.
Meaning:
If Access Control Lists (ACLs) are configured at device level, they take priority over this firewall policy.
