Overview

The Logging page allows administrators to configure and manage log export settings for selected devices, tags, or networks.

It supports different logging types and upload destinations.

πŸ”Ή Create Logging Configuration

1️⃣ Logging Name

Enter a name for the logging profile.

Example:

  • Event Logs

  • Syslog

  • CALEA Compliance Logs

2️⃣ Logging Type * (Required)

Select the type of logging:

  • CALEA – Lawful intercept logging (compliance use cases)

  • Event Logging – General system events visible on PCC portal (reboots, status changes, etc.)

  • Syslog – Standard syslog export to external server

This field is mandatory.

3️⃣ Devices / Device Tags / Network * (Required)

Select where logging will be applied:

  • Specific Devices

  • Device Tags

  • Entire Network

This determines the scope of the logging configuration.

4️⃣ Upload Type (CALEA)

Select where logs will be stored if selected CALEA:

  • FTP

  • Local File System
    ​

If FTP is selected:

You must configure:

  • Upload URL – FTP server address

  • Upload User – FTP username

  • Upload Password – FTP password

If Local File System is selected:

Logs will be stored locally on the device/system.

No FTP credentials required.

4️⃣ Upload Type (Event Logging)

Select when you want to see logs in PCC portal

4️⃣ Upload Type (Syslog)

Select when you want to forward the logs to an external syslog server, provide the below informaiton:

  • IP address

  • Port

  • Username (Optional)

  • Password (Optional)

🟒 Create Logging

Click Create Logging to save and apply the configuration.

This section displays all configured logging profiles.

Columns include:

  • Logging Name

  • Logging Type

  • Upload Type

  • Enabled (Yes/No toggle)

  • URL / IP

  • Network / AP / Tags

  • Upload User

  • Action (Edit / Destroy)
