Overview

The Integration Type section allows administrators to integrate Pronto with external network management platforms. This integration enables the system to communicate with third-party controllers and retrieve network information such as zones, devices, and configuration details.

Currently supported integrations include vendors such as Ruckus and VVDN.

This feature is typically used when Pronto needs to interact with external wireless controllers or vendor platforms.

Creating an Integration

To configure a new integration:

  1. Navigate to configure

  2. Open the Integration Type section.

  3. Enter the required vendor integration details.

  4. Click Create to save the configuration.

Integration Configuration Fields

  • Vendor Name

This dropdown allows administrators to select the vendor platform that will be integrated with Pronto.

Available options may include:

Vendor

Description

RUCKUS

Integration with the Ruckus SmartZone controller

VVDN

Integration with VVDN networking platforms

The selected vendor determines how the system communicates with the external controller.

  • Username

This field specifies the login username for the external controller or vendor platform.

The username must match the credentials used to access the vendor’s management interface.

Example:

admin

  • Password

This field stores the authentication password used to connect to the external platform.

The password must correspond to the username configured in the previous field.

For security purposes, passwords are stored securely by the system.

  • SZ Host

The SZ Host field specifies the controller host URL or IP address.

This is the address of the external controller that Pronto will connect to.

Example:

The URL must be valid, otherwise the system will display the validation message:

"Please specify a valid URL."

Creating the Integration

  • After filling all required fields:

    1. Click Create.

    2. The integration will be saved and added to the Integration Type List.

  • If any required fields are missing, the system will display validation messages such as:

    • This field is required

    • Please specify a valid URL

Integration Type List

Below the configuration form, the Integration Type List displays all configured integrations.

The table includes the following columns:
