The event log provides time wise detailed event information as occurred in the deployed network - and divided in system, network or client level events

Begin by navigating to the event logging feature by clicking Monitor > Event Logging.

To begin, please confirm that Event logging has been configured. To configure the first time, click on the "here" button in the prompt below or navigate to the logging section under Configuration menu.

Once in the logging page, please select from the logging options. In this case select "Event Logging" and click Create Logging.

Now, return to the event logging page and select the device and event category. Click Filter to run. You will now be able to review both live for real time events or historical for events over a specific timeframe.

This helps identify :

Run an event log to captures the following types of traffic:

  • 802.11 – Association and dissociation of clients.

  • DHCP – Lease information from DHCP server. Info about the client IP address, default gateway, and DNS server.

  • HB - Communication to the cloud

  • Uplink - Mobile Uplink up/down

  • LAN Port Link - Up/Down

  • Configuration Updates

  • Captive Portal Events

  • RADIUS Authentication/Accounting Failure events
